Reporting and Billing
You need need to see what is happening in your centre.
But for good business you need to be able to bill or manage customers on their usage of the Internet.
These features give you the hard data.
Report Graphs provide an instant way to see what is happeninging. Graphs can cover periods from 36 hours to 1 year.
Graphs of bandwidth use by customer or Internet connection are available. However there are special graphs for the traffic manager, load balancer and many other system parameters.
Numbers are everything.
The Volume Usage function will provide data on hom much Internet was used by one or all companies for a specific time period. If you charge customers by volume or provide a volume allocation in GBytes, then these reports will give you the data that is needed. Output to screen or file.
Medusa also have a simple 3-level billing system that allows you to calculate charges. You can enter a subscription charge, a quota per month in Mbytes, a charge rate for usage, and an excess charge rate for users that exceed the quota.
Calculations for centres that use workstation billing are also available.
Medusa has a 3-level system of quotas that trigger alerts to the operators if a customer exceeds these levels.
Medusa can also handle workstation quota calculations so that you can sell by the seat andnot have to adjust allocations constantly.
Reports can be emailed to you every month.
If you use property management software such as Centre Charge, Ultrasoft, EtenantCare or Morningstar, then there are a number of ways to interface these packages to Medusa uatomatically. Please contact your Medusa supplier or your software vendor.
